'Lavender Church' Bird House #124
'Lavender Church' Bird House #124
'Lavender Church' Bird House is one of a kind and unique birdhouse finished with painted 'sandstone', a decoupage process and sealed ready for outside.
It's been made by Dad/Stan, from team BeSt, and finished by Bette/Mum. As pictured it has a 'slate' grey roof and the foyer roof is the entry perch. The walls are covered in 'sandstone' and there is a little front porch, with a flower-y entry door and a crazy paved front yard. and did you see the stain glass windows?
This can be placed in a tree from a hanging hook (which Dad can add for you), or attached to a pole or on a post. It will need a coat of marine varnish in about 3 years to give it more life and help protect it. And kept out of direct sun will keep it looking bright and crisp too.
The actual house is about 29cm high by 19cm wide (at base) and 39cm deep/long including the 11cm for the foyer and entry. The actual porch/foyer room is 7cm x 7cm x 12cm high.
At the back is a door for easy clean out once the birds have grown up and left the nest!
